What shipped, and when
The public record, newest first. If it's on this page, you can touch it in the game today; the roadmap holds what's still in the workshop.
August 2026
- The Spacious Update. The default arena grew to 2.7× its area with the same thirty-two captains; the camera sits further back and glides, and the mouse wheel (or a pinch) zooms between close-up and tactical views with a hard fairness cap.
- Honeycomb Cove. A third, classic board — no landmarks, no objectives, a golden honeycomb sea floor — one tap from PLAY, with board-aware public matchmaking.
- Stacking multipliers. A dozen ×2–×10 treasure tokens across the whole arena; each adds time to its own clock with no cap, overlapping tiers multiply, and your stack shows as gold chips at the top of the screen.
- Growth you can watch. Bodies swell smoothly toward their true size after big meals (the game underneath stays exact), faces sit properly on the neck at every heading, tails end in a rounded cap, and ordinary treasure got meaningfully richer.
July 2026
- The captain-centered launcher. Your captain front and center; boards, paces, helms and friend rooms organized into the Captain's Quarters settings panel. Pointer steering now aligns exactly with the visible head, and ⚡ turbo pickups feed a reserve shown inside your worm.
- The Legend Voyage. A captain level and a permanent, earnable cosmetic route through the three legend looks — labeled not-for-sale in the interface.
- Turbo, made visible. Sprint reserve now shows inside your worm, and the button states the price: 2.0× speed, −4 size per second.
- Living skin materials. All twelve themes gained animated materials with per-device motion and glow controls in the Skin Studio, plus standard/RARE/LEGEND complexity tiers.
- Slower spatial play. Room paces arrived — Harbor (patient default), Classic, and Tempest — alongside durable rooms and the pirate-powers relic work.
- The Black Pearl Relay. A second board: two wrap-and-charge capstan objectives, Port and Starboard, for tactical crews.
- Install without an app store. A signed Android package downloadable from the site, iPhone home-screen install, desktop install — with offline solo play.
- The guide library and devlog. Strategy, genre roundups, and this building-in-public record.
- Site foundations. Real 404s, analytics that respects consent and Do-Not-Track, faster indexing plumbing, and a press kit.
- Wormifi launches. The living-chain arena goes public: solo rush/endless/practice with exact six-second replays, the live multiplayer preview with labeled AI, friend rooms by code, and the private Photo Skin studio.
