Shared rooms. One collision authority.
Wormifi's live mode connects your browser to a shared server-authoritative arena. The interface separates connected humans from labeled AI instead of pretending bots are players.
What is working in the preview
- A shared room is simulated by the server, not independently by each browser.
- The live status appears only after the browser receives authority confirmation and a fresh server snapshot.
- Connected human and labeled AI counts are displayed separately.
- Movement, collisions, treasure collection, reconnect identity for the current tab, and AI backfill exist in the preview system.
What “preview” means
The current service is intentionally limited. It is not advertised as massively multiplayer, high availability, proven no-lag at public scale, or equal to a mature commercial network. Multi-instance room routing, persistent room state, failover, and broad external-player evidence remain launch work.
Humans stay visible
The room display gives an explicit human count. AI backfill keeps the arena active, but every bot remains labeled so the player population is not overstated.
Reconnect is bounded
A reconnect token can restore identity in the same browser tab. This preview behavior does not yet promise durable accounts or session survival across a service replacement.
