WORMIFI
The plan, in public

The Wormifi roadmap

Two lists, kept honest: what you can play right now, and what we're building. Nothing on the second list gets announced as real until it survives testing on real devices.

Live today

  • Two boards: Open Seas classic free-roam, and the Black Pearl Relay — a tactical arena built around two wrap-and-charge capstan landmarks.
  • Three room paces: Harbor (the patient long-run default), Classic, and Tempest for captains who want less reaction time. One pace applies to a whole live room.
  • Friend rooms: share a room code or invite link; the same code lands everyone in the same live arena.
  • Live multiplayer preview: server-authoritative rooms with visible human counts and clearly labeled AI backfill.
  • Twelve animated skin materials, per-device motion and glow controls, and the private Photo Skin studio.
  • Solo modes with exact replays: 90-second rush, endless, and practice — every local run ends with a six-second replay.
  • Installs without an app store on Android, iPhone, and desktop, with offline solo play.

In the workshop

  • Real character heads. Every theme is getting an authored character head — painted, expressive, alive — replacing the shared pirate head. In active development now.
  • The cosmetics store. A premium legend trio (ink, embers, deep-sea plate) behind a one-time unlock. Built and in testing; it opens when the purchase path has been proven end to end. Bound by the cosmetics-only line.
  • Sturdier live rooms. The preview runs honest but small. Scaling work — room routing, persistent rooms, failover — is the path from "preview" to "network," and we won't drop the preview label until it's done.
  • More boards and relics. The Black Pearl Relay proved the board system; more arenas and more relic specialists are on the bench.

How to read this page

"Live today" means you can click play and touch it this minute. "In the workshop" means real work in progress with no promised dates — we don't announce dates, we announce proofs. When something moves from the second list to the first, the devlog tells the story of how.
